Degelman Industries Receives Rebates for Energy Efficiency Upgrades in their Facility
Degeleman Industries has recently completed their new facility in Hillsboro and they were able to apply for rebates from Hillsboro Municipal Utilities through Missouri River Energy Services to assist with their project. They received $14,825.78in rebates utilizing the Bright Energy Solutions Programs for various programs such as lighting, VFDS and their geothermal system.This project will continue to save Degelman Industries for years to come with the reduction in peak energy usage long-term.The total estimated savings for this project is 34 kW of demand monthly and 247,103 kWh in energy annually over existing lighting.In addition to the energy savings, the facility will have state of the art fixtures, bulbs and equipment that have a longer life than previous technology; also saving on maintenance costs in the future.
Many Hillsboro residents and businesses have received cash rebates over the past several months as part of an effort to encourage people to be more energy efficient.
The program, known as Bright Energy Solutions®, provides incentives for qualifying energy-efficient residential heating and cooling equipment and Energy Star appliances.
Business customers can also take advantage of rebates for a variety of measures including lighting, variable-frequency drives, heating and cooling systems and food service equipment.

To apply for cash incentives, customers must complete an application form and provide the required documentation to the city office. Application forms are available through local contractors and retailers, and can also be printed at www.brightenergysolutions.com.
