Terry Redlin Art Center benefits from BES rebates
The Terry Redlin Art Center received a check from Watertown Municipal Utilities in recognition of its efforts to improve energy efficiency at the Watertown, S.D.-based center. The Terry Redlin Art Center was presented with a check in the amount of $13,140 as part of the Bright Energy Solutions® rebate program. This program encourages energy efficient choices by offering cash incentives for qualifying equipment. The ultimate goal of this program is to help customers, like this art center, save money on their electrical usage.
The art center will save about more than 133,000 kilowatt-hours annually and reduce their peak usage by nearly 55 kilowatts. In addition to the rebate, it will save $8,400 annually in electric costs with the new lighting upgrades.
